Maybank came from a halftime deficit to inflict a fifth consecutive defeat on UniKL in a Premier Division match of the TNB Malaysian Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium.

It left UniKL rooted to the bottom of the table while enhanced Maybank's quest for a place in the last four after a rather hesistant start to their campain.

Skipper Noor Faeez Ibrahim put UniKL in the lead in the 19th minute via a penalty corner. But rather then build on the lead, UniKL became complacent.

Maybank needed no second chance as they equalised via Amirullah Zainol in the 42nd minute. And Maybank skipper Hairul Nizam Abdul Rani ensured full points as he pounced on  aweak clearance to slot the ball past UniKL keeper Shahrul Azaddin in the 64th minute.

In Ipoh, Sapura registered their third win in the MHL by defeating Nur Insafi Perak 5-0.

Meanwhile in a Division One match, Johor HA edged Uniten 3-2 to move to the top of the table with six points, dislodging Armed Forces.
